TH Milk Industry expands dairy production in Kaluga Region

Within the framework of the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, TH Milk Industry and the government of Kaluga Region signed a letter of intent regarding the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a milk processing plant. The document was signed by Nguyen Dinh Hien, General Director of TH-Rus Milk Food LLC, and Vladislav Shapsha, Governor of the region.
The signed agreement confirms the company’s plans to significantly increase the production capacity of the TH Milk Industry dairy processing complex at Borovsk site of Kaluga SEZ. The project involves increasing the volume of milk processing and dairy production in two stages: in the first stage, the capacity will reach 500 tons, and in the second stage – 1000 tons per day. The multiple increase in capacity will allow offering consumers an even wider range of high-quality dairy products, including drinking milk, yogurts, fermented milk, and functional dairy products. Notably, more than 50% of the products will be made from the company’s own raw materials. The total investment for both stages will exceed 13 billion rubles.
“The TH Milk Industry dairy processing complex at Borovsk site of Kaluga SEZ is a flagship project within the framework of TH Group’s long-term development program in Russia. Its implementation and expansion will allow the Kaluga Region to take a leading position in the field of milk processing, increase tax revenues to the budget, and also create more than 200 new high-performance jobs,” said Nguyen Dinh Hien, General Director of TH-Rus Milk Food LLC.
